Instructions for cleaning and caring for furniture
Always follow the care instructions in this product.
-
Products made from natural materials such as wood and marble will have unique color / surface variations.
-
Always use mild detergents – never use harsh, chemical cleaners.
-
To maintain the color of the materials, avoid direct sunlight whenever possible.
-
Never place products near heat sources.
-
Always protect surfaces from direct heat, humidity and brightly colored objects.
-
Only items expressly approved for outdoor use are suitable for exposure to such conditions. Otherwise they are for indoor use and should never be used outdoors.
Fabrics
Try to avoid placing fabric in direct sunlight and use curtains and blinds to protect your furniture whenever possible. Try to avoid cleaning the stains, but if necessary try wiping the spot with a clean white cloth. Avoid rubbing as this will create a bigger stain. If further care is required, check the specific cleaning requirements of your fabric to ensure that the appropriate method is used. This will ensure that further damage is avoided and that any stain is removed as well as possible.
Wood
The care of your wooden furniture depends on the surface treatment. Soap-treated furniture should be soaped regularly and oil-treated furniture should be treated with special wood oil every now and then, while lacquered wood furniture only needs to be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh, chemical cleaners.
